I, Vicki Lewis, have a BFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (many years ago) I had a lingerie business in the mid 80's that was featured in People magazine, Playboy & Glamour. I also appeared on the Donohue show. Then 9 years ago, I began Babyblankie.com. Maryam is babyblankie.com's fantastic sewing contractor. We have been working together for the past 8 years. 1st Maryam hand sews all of the satin lining in place. Then she sews them on the machine, very time consuming. Please say a prayer for her husband Abe that has been chronically ill, for these past 8 years. Babyblankie.com is now a "hobby" for both Maryam & myself. We both love to sew & create, but we also have the responsibility of taking care of our loved ones in declining health With my new demands of taking care of my elderly parents (that live out of state), at least 10 days out of every month, I will be away from the office.
